ECEX FAQ
Who is ECEX and what do you do?
The Electronic Currency Equities Exchange (ECEX) is an independent
trading platform bringing together investors and listed companies
in the electronic currency arena.
What is your relationship to listed companies and accountholders?
We act solely as a facilitator. ECEX does not invest in listed
companies, and does not maintain management control in whole or
in part over any listed company.
What is "the electronic currency arena"?
This is a blanket term used to describe the legitimate businesses
which use electonic currencies such as Liberty Reserve, e-gold et
al. If you are unfamiliar with these services please see our link
page for some information sources you may find of use.
Where is ECEX located?
While maintaining requisite ties to mainstream financial and legal
structures, for all practical purposes we are a strictly cyberspace-based
operation.
Cyberspace is great, but where is my money?
Our member account reserves are held in the electronic currency
accounts that we maintain. These accounts are subject to local and
international law of the providers, as well as the private contract
which the respective user agreements for those accounts represent.
How do I sign up?
Please click here to open a free ECEX
trading account.
How do I make a trade?
We have a buy/sell tutorial within the member account area which
explains this process in detail. Please click on the
question mark next to your order entry in the buy / sell page.
How do I fund/defund my ECEX account?
We accept a number of electronic currencies for account funding,
including Liberty Reserve and e-gold. We plan to make other
forms of payment available as demand dictates.
I own a company I'd like to take public on the ECEX.
How do I do this?
Please contact us to discuss your particular plan. A business pro
forma and c.v. on all principals of your company should be made
available at the time that you make contact.
For additional information, see our terms of
service and ancillary documents.
